NAMG - Power and Energy: Windfarms

At NAMG, we recognise the need for alternatives to traditional power generation methods and look to harness freely available and renewable energy sources to complement existing supplies to national power grids.

In Windfarm development we see the potential to provide renewable power sources with minimal environmental impact. Indeed one of the advantages we see in this technology, aside from a reduction in the production of greenhouse emissions, is its ability to be located in regions that are not highly populated or developed, bringing power to remote regions and enhancing qualities of life, while reducing the need for extension of existing grids. We also see the advantage of linking the farms, be they onshore or offshore into the local grid and offsetting the emissions of the older plant.
